Research has proved that people with dyslexia are more vulnerable than their peers. A University of Toronto research paper, ‘The Association Between Children Childhood Physical Abuse and Dyslexia: Findings from a Population-Based Study’ found that 35% of adults with dyslexia reported they were physically abused before they turned 18. In contrast, 7% of the general population reported that they had experienced physical abuse.
