A networking group for professionals is currently being created with the aim of an official launch taking place in February 2020.

A networking group for professionals is currently being created with the aim of an official launch taking place in February 2020.

The group aims to meet the needs of SpLD (Specific Learning Difficulties) practitioners at a local level, providing an opportunity to adapt and respond to local requirements, offering services such as network meetings, sharing best practices, CPD training events, access to local advice, a books and resource library.

The aim of the group is:

  • To provide a forum for members to exchange ideas and information;
  • To encourage links between assessors, teachers and other professionals working in the field of specific learning difficulties;
  • To promote fuller understanding of specific learning difficulties.
