About the course: Are you thinking of developing yourself to be a trainer tutor or teacher whether it be in the workplace or in community education? This course will prepare you with the introduction skills to teaching. You will develop confidence, skills and with your skills to deliver inclusive training. This course will not qualify you to teach.

Assessment: You will be assessed by completing a workbook and a 15-minute micro-teach
Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training

Entry requirements: A teaching placement does need to be secured prior to commencing the course, which will allow you to carry out a minimum of 30 hours of teaching practice.
Minimum age: You must be at least 19 years of age to achieve these qualifications.
Teaching sessions: 11 one day teaching sessions.
Workplace Observations: Three
Suitable for: Those with no previous teaching experience.
About the course: If you wish to teach within the further education or lifelong learning sector, you need to have Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training QCF (post 2013.) The course will prepare and qualify you to teach to a range of students. The course is also suitable for trainers. You will develop confidence, skills and with your skills to deliver inclusive training will prepare trainee teachers with the skills to teach in a wide range of contexts. You will also be assessed teaching three times which contribute towards gaining accreditation.
